When it comes to your work, are you charging ahead KNOWING that you are on the right path?
Do you work from morning to night and feel like time flies because you are doing what you’re meant to do?
If not, read on.
It’s possible to have this kind of purpose (and passion) in your work.
(I know this to be true because I am living it, and my hunch is that I am a lot like you.)
There’s a Hebrew scripture that paints a great picture of what work should be:
As for every man to whom God has given riches and many good things, He has also given him the power to eat from them, receive his reward and be happy in his work…
He will not think much about the years of his life, because God keeps him happy in his heart.
People who are both profitable and happy in their work don’t spend their days worrying.
They spend their time enjoying life because their work doesn’t feel like work!
So how do YOU spend your days doing work that makes you money and makes you happy?
Well, here’s where NOT to start:
DO NOT FIX YOUR WEAKNESSES.
Yes, you read that right.
What most people don’t recognize is that we have a limited amount of energy to put toward our work, and we spend far too much of it focused on our weaknesses.
KEY TAKEAWAY: Focusing on weaknesses makes you average. Focusing on strengths makes you great.
And identifying your purpose is all about unlocking your greatness.
So, stop beating yourself up about what you are NOT.
It’s time to focus on who you ARE and unlock your PURPOSE.
But how do you find your purpose?
In the upcoming Purpose to Profits course, we’ll go in-depth on how to discover what I call your Profitable Purpose.
For now, though, here’s a hint:
